Zambia Will Beat Nigeria - Zambia's Vice President |

Less than five hours to the all important quarter finals between Nigeria and the Chipolopolo of Zambia, the Zambians have restated that the super eagles will be tamed super eagles today as the two team battle for the semi finals in Angola.
The vice president of Zambia Mr George Kunda was quoted by The PostZambia that "One of the sports which is popular in Zambia is soccer and tomorrow today we are confident of beating Nigeria," he said.
The vice president who was at the Queens Baton Relay at National Museum in Lusaka where he officiated ,added that football was the most popular and most followed sport in Zambia and enjoyed a large following.
He urged athletes that would be participating in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India to work hard and reap medals.
"My presence here signifies the importance our government attaches to sports, I believe the arrival of the Queens Baton Relay in the country should reflect our athletes' preparedness towards 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and our participation in the games should not just end up in mere participation but to compete favorably and reap medals for the country," he said.
