Nigeria again has lost out at this year's Grammy awards after sole nominee, Femi Kuti lost out in the Best Contemporary World Music Album to American banjo player,Bela Fleck.
Femi Whose album, 'DAY-BY-DAY' was submitted under the umbrella of Mercer street Records came thirds behind Bela Fleck's "Throw Down Your Heart: Tales From The Acoustic Planet, Vol. 3 - Africa Sessions" and Welcome To Mali by Amadou & Mariam under Nonesuch who came first and second respectively.
